Does the Qur’an assist your views on A’isha? 834 469 The Office Of His Eminence Sheikh al-Habib

QUESTION:

Do you have a single piece of evidence from the Qur’an that matches your viewpoints on A’isha? Where Present proof from the Qur’an whereby A’isha is discredited.

ANSWER:

In the Name of Allah, the All-Beneficent, the All-Merciful.
May Allah bless Muhammad and his Family and damn their enemies.

Pay attention to Sura Al-Tahreem. Do read, contemplate and reflect upon those verses:

Allah presents an example of those who disbelieved: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot. They were under two of Our righteous servants, but betrayed them, so those prophets did not avail them from Allah at all, and it was said: Enter the Fire with those who enter.
66:11

According to the evidence presented in the Qur’an, the two wives of Noah and Lot are dishonest, corrupt and deviated. Also, we have additional evidence in the Qur’an that A’isha and Hafsa, the two wives of the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him and his family) were equally corrupt, deviated, faithless and double-crossing.

If you two [wives] repent to Allah, (it is best), for your hearts have deviated. But if you combine forces against him, then indeed Allah is his protector, and Gabriel and the Righteous of the Believers and the Angels, moreover, are assistants. Perhaps his Lord, if he divorced you, would substitute for him wives better than you, Muslims, believing, devoutly obedient, repentant, worshipping, previously married and virgins.
66:5-6

Both sects agree that those verses were revealed because A’isha and Hafsa plotted against the Prophet (peace and blessing be upon him and his family). Allah demanded that they both seek repentance as their hearts had inclined away from true belief and faith. Allah also warned them that they could be replaced by other wives by His decree and that those new wives would be Muslims, believers and so on. In other words, A’isha and Hafsa lacked those qualities.; they were not Muslims or believers. Otherwise, Allah would not have warned them and said that he would replace them with wives who possessed those qualities.

Consequently, Allah has not stated in his Glorious Book that both A’isha and Hafsa indeed believed, showed remorse and sought forgiveness. The most up-to-date available verdict concerning them both as recorded in the Qur’an remains valid.

The biography of those two wives substantiates the verdict of their disbelief. They both poisoned the Prophet and conspired against Imam Ali to abolish his legitimate leadership. The Battle of Jamal was produced exclusively by A’isha. The prevention of the funeral procession of Imam Al Hassan (peace be upon him) and the raining of his coffin with arrows was another evil production of A’isha in particular.
Those positions that A’isha assumed unreservedly indicate that she was an enemy of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them). In SurahAl-Ahzab, we read the following:

Indeed, those who ill-treat Allah and His Messenger – Allah has cursed them in this world and the Hereafter and prepared for them a humiliating punishment.
33:58

On the one hand, we have evidence in the Holy Qur’an that A’isha and Hafsa were two corrupt, deviated, plotting and disloyal women; on the other hand, we have many definite narrations that prove they both ill-treated, offended, foul-mouthed and neglected the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) to the extent that he described them and compared them to

the ones who conspired against Joseph”. A’isha was called the “Head of Disbelief”.
Refer to Sahih Muslim, volume 4, pages 2229 and 2905.

The conclusion is that the findings of any objective, free-minded, pious and salvation-seeking individual on the matter of A’isha and Hafsa is that every Muslim must disassociate from the two and that the credible application of performing dissociation against A’isha and Hafsa is by cursing them. This is a legitimate religious duty of every Muslim. In a previous yet relevant response, the Sheikh stated that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) repeatedly warned the Muslims not to fall into the traps of A’isha. He revealed to them that she was a Head of Disbelief, Head of Satan and a Gate of Tribulation.
Bukhari, in his book, reported that Ibn Umar said:

Refer to Sahih Bukhari, volume 4, page 100.

it is reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) left A’isha’s residence and immediately declared:

Tribulation is right here. This is where the Horn of Satan emerges.
In Sahih Muslim, volume 2, page 560

When opponents try to force the issue of ‘East’ and ‘Iraq’ onto the apparent location of A’isha residence, you start to realise that they are being absurd at the very least. If someone wanted to allege that the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) did not reveal to Muslims the true picture of A’isha, his claim would be groundless. The proof is in the above Sahih narrations.
