In the Name of Allah, the All-Beneficent, the All-Merciful.
May Allah bless Muhammad and his Family and damn their enemies
.

As you are considered the de facto ruler of Kuwait, His Eminence, Shiekh al-Habib, has directed us to convey his anger with your law enforcement’s arrest of a citizen in Kuwait because he authored a book ‘Kash al-Mutawari in Sahih al-Bukhari’, criticising Sahih al-Bukhari. It is as though criticism of al-Bukhari and his narrations is a crime punishable by the law, even though the narrations being scrutinised are the type which demean and insult the Greatest Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his pure family).

His Eminence expects you to act quickly and pardon the individual who was incarcerated unfairly simply because he dared voice his opinion. Furthermore, you are expected to restrain your law enforcement so that they do not abuse their power by infringing upon the right of individuals to scrutinise history, especially if those individuals are devoted Shi’a who everyone knows reject Bukhari and what he belongs to. The Shia’s only loyalty is to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and it is their right, as citizens and founders of this country, to freely express their opinion and beliefs and not be persecuted for the beliefs of others. There is no place in the civilised world for this kind of behaviour, and it is oppression such as this that leads to revolt.

Not complying may necessitate action of which you will regret in a few years, Allah willing, so act wisely during your reign.

‘’And do good beforehand for yourselves, and be careful (of your duty) to Allah, and know that you will meet Him’’. – Quran 2:224
