His Eminence rejects the allegations made by Senator Lindsey Graham in the U.S. Senate, where he claimed that the “religious doctrine of the Shiites in charge compels them to kill all the Jews. It’s a commandment from God.” His Eminence’s response is as follows:
– These allegations reflect the senator’s profound ignorance of the faith and history of the Shia Muslims, whose concern for human lives and world peace exceeds all others, despite all the terror and injustice that they had faced and continue to face to this day.
– Contrary to what this idiotic politician says, the Shia religion teaches us to, as Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said: “If you are in the company of a Jew, treat them well.”
– Our conflict and war is with the criminal Zionists, especially those whose arrest the International Criminal Court issued orders for, not the innocent, peaceful Jews, especially those who are against Zionisim.
– Those who today are motivated by religious motives for indiscriminate killing and ethnic cleansing are those who rely on Jewish religious teachings that ooze bloodiness. For instance, ‘The King’s Doctrine’ by Rabbis Yitzhak Shapira and Yossi Elitzur fully permits the killing of non-Jews, including those who are not hostile, assuming that “if allowed to live, they might endanger the people of Israel.” Furthermore, this book, based on Jewish religious texts, permits the killing of non-Jewish children “with the belief that they could harm the people of Israel in the future when they grow up.”
– The International Criminal Court is also called upon to issue an arrest warrant for Lindsey Graham because he had previously called for “leveling Gaza to the ground,” which is clearly a call for genocide.
