In the Name of Allah, the All-Beneficent, the All-Merciful.
May Allah bless Muhammad and his Family and damn their enemies.

After the heinous atrocities and public executions committed by the terrorist de facto authority in Syria in the past few days that targeted civilians, including women and children, the MSU Spokesperson, Hicham Lachkar, wrote several messages on x addressed to the western officials Keir Starmer, the prime minister of England, Emmanuel Macron, the president of France, and Annalena Baerbock, the foreign affairs minister of Germany, to condemn their deafening silence, inaction, and double standards.

While Hicham Lachkar was under no illusion that these western officials will pay the slightest attention to his messages, he stated that these messages were, at the very least, an outlet for the sadness and concern one feels witnessing the slaughter of unarmed civilians in the name of Islam on the one hand, and the west’s complicity for the sake of their ‘interests’ on the other.

In his messages addressed to these western officials, The MSU Spokesperson stated: “In recent hours, tens of videos have spread online showing the followers of Jolani, the de facto leader of the Syrian regime, committing horrific crimes against those who they claim were supporters of the ousted regime of Assad. Video evidence shows these followers carry out public executions against civilians – including women, children, and the elderly – in a brutal and merciless manner.

In recent months, you have been quick to lift sanctions, legitimise and financially support these terrorists. You even carried out official visits to them that served to break their international isolation, and all for what? For the sake of short-lived political gain, without any regard for the most basic of human rights.”

In previous statements, His Eminence, Sheikh al-Habib, warned you against repeating the mistakes of the past. Placing your trust in these extremist ‘Sunni Islamists’ is not just a betrayal of the human values you claim to uphold in the west, but also a suicide mission from a political perspective. A country led by terrorists in the Middle East will encourage the supporters of their ideals to expand far and wide to realise their ambitions, and by that I mean exporting terrorism to your countries.

Why are you still quiet?

Where is your so-called commitment to human rights?

When you shook hands with Jolani’s regime for the first time you said you were investing in a new regime that was supposed to respect civilians and protect the minorities.

Where are your false promises now?

Sheikh al-Habib
