Sheikh al-Habib: ‘Inaction Led To Recent Parachinar Massacre’ 834 469 The Office Of His Eminence Sheikh al-Habib

In the Name of Allah, the All-Beneficent, the All-Merciful.
May Allah bless Muhammad and his Family and damn their enemies.

Elements from the terrorist Taliban and Deobandi groups carried out a brutal massacre in the town of Parachinar, northwestern Pakistan, which has so far claimed 44 martyrs – including children – and wounded more than 160. Recordings of the heinous crimes, filmed by the terrorists themselves, showed them cutting off the heads of their victims and proudly raising them like trophies.

Sheikh al-Habib received the news of the tragedy with sorrow and deep sadness, expressing his regret that the warnings he issued many years ago – even before the Taliban returned to power in Afghanistan – were ignored. His Eminence warned that the return of the Taliban will herald in a new era of terror, that a new wave of terror will engulf the region – and beyond – and that terrorists will rise once more to spill the Shi’a blood. To prepare for that catastrophic scenario, Sheikh al-Habib called upon the Shi’a people to prepare by forming a cross-border force, with international approval and support, while also denouncing Khamenei’s regime for facilitating the return of Taliban to spite their American foes.

Furthermore, His Eminence expressed his utter shock at the laxity of the authorities responsible for the protection of the people of Parachinar, and the apparent lack of interest and the inaction of the Shi’a representatives. This massacre is the culmination of a long series of incidents that began more than three months ago when terrorists stormed a school and killed seven Shi’a teachers in broad daylight, followed by the besiegement of the town by a group of armed Taliban terrorists, who blockaded it and prevented all essentials from reaching the town in recent days while no one took action, which is what allowed this horrendous massacre to happen.

Addressing the Shi’a representatives and their influential figures, His Eminence says: “Where have you been all this time, people of great turbans and grand titles? You should be ashamed of yourselves because you utterly failed to stop this massacre from taking place, and your failure has exposed the emptiness of your claims to be the custodians of the vulnerable Shi’a and the ones who watch over their interests.”

His Eminence also faults the silence of the international community in condemning this savage crime, and asks: “Is the Shi’a blood that cheap? The international community was appalled when Hamas stormed some Israeli settlements and committed what it had committed, but this very same international community did not bat an eyelid in relation to this latest massacre, despite the fact that the crimes of Hamas, while horrific, do not compare to what the Taliban had done in Parachinar in terms of brutality and barbarism. Indeed, a wide spectrum of the international community still believes that the Zionist entity has the right to respond with a violent military campaign, despite the indiscriminate killing, widespread destruction, and the genocide that it has caused so far. So why don’t the Shi’a also have the right to military intervention, with legal and international cover, to protect the towns and communities that are constantly threatened with extermination, as long as the authorities responsible for their safety – such as the Pakistani government – continue to fail to protect them? How long will the Shi’a person continue to bleed?”

His Eminence raises his hands in prayer and asks that God, the Almighty, accepts the sacrifices of these faithful martyrs in Pakistan, and to join them with our Prophet Muhammad and his pure family (God’s prayers upon them), and that He, Glory be to Him, grants the wounded a speedy recovery, and the bereaved with patience, faith in His eternal reward, and solace.

His Eminence also instructs all believers to pray to God to hasten the reappearance of our Master, the Promised Imam al-Mahdi (peace be upon him), so that he may fill the earth with justice and tranquillity after it was filled with injustice and tyranny, provided that they work towards the requirements of his holy reappearance and pave the way for it.

There is no power nor might save in God, the Exalted, the Almighty. We belong to God, and to Him we will return.
