Sheikh al-Habib condemns the recent statements by the Home Secretary, Suella Braverman, who referred to the demonstrations being held in support of the Palestinian victims of the savage Zionist attacks on Gaza as ‘hate marches’, while threatening to take action against the protestors.
His Eminence encourages the protestors to ignore these threats and to challenge them constantly by continuing to take to the streets, to practise their freedom of expression while condemning the crimes of the Zionist Occupation and their ceaseless crimes against humanity.
His Eminence says to the Home Secretary: ‘You must have lost your mind, if you had any to begin with. Since when is taking to the streets to protest against genocide being witnessed by the entire world considered a ‘hate march’? And how could these marches be considered ‘hate marches’ when the protestors come from all sorts of different backgrounds, even including Jews who are anti-Zionist? You seem to have completely lost your mind. As for humanity, we know that you already lack it because only an apathetic person could look at the horrific scenes coming out of Gaza of the innocent victims of this war, including women and children, and show no concern or sympathy. You truly are a mindless beast.
