A Letter of Condolences for the Passing of Sayed Sa’id al-Hakim. 834 469 The Office Of His Eminence Sheikh al-Habib

In the Name of Allah, the All-Beneficent, the All-Merciful.
May Allah bless Muhammad and his Family and damn their enemies.

To the family of the great scholar, Sayed Sa’id al-Hakim (may Allah sanctify his soul):
Peace and blessings of Allah upon you, and may He reward you greatly.

We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of the Grand Religious Authority, Sayed Sa’id al-Tabataba’e al-Hakim (may Allah sanctify his soul), who answered the call of his Lord on Friday, 25th of Muharram, 1442 Hijri, in the city of his grandfather, the Commander of the Faithful (peace be upon him).

His Eminence left behind notable works of scholarly pursuits and a legacy rife with acts of bravery and humility in service of the faith. We recall, for instance, how his Eminence cared greatly for those visiting the shrine of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him), personally serving them despite his illness and old age.

He firmly believed that upholding the great rituals of Allah are a necessity to the faith, and Allah has rewarded his deeds by taking his soul on the day that marks the martyrdom of Imam Zain Al-Abidin (peace be upon him) on the 25th of Muharram.

As members of the Mahdi (peace be upon him) Servants Union, we would like to extend our condolences to our Imam al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his reappearance), our great Grand Religious Authorities, and the family of Sayed Sa’id al-Hakim.

We ask the Most Sublime to have mercy on his soul and grant him the highest rewards in His unbounded heavens, with the Messenger of Allah and his purified family (peace be upon him).

We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return.
