QUESTION:
I have a question about the Islamic ruling on proving rape. The Qur’an states that women are required to produce 4 witnesses to prove a case in court. How can a woman prove she was raped if she can’t produce 4 witnesses?
Why did they not bring four witnesses of it? But as they have not brought witnesses, they are liars before Allah.

The quoted Quranic verse does not ordain women who are victims of rape to produce four witnesses, but rather ordains those who make an allegation of adultery against two people to bring forth four witnesses to prove such a crime.
Women who are victims of rape, on the other hand, may directly present their case before an Islamic court where the rapist will then be brought and questioned about the incident.
