The Magians, Zoroastrians, their religion is heavenly in origin, but they distorted it like the Jews and the Christians – for example – and it is an obvious deviant group.
Among the questions of the heretic who asked Abu Abdullah, peace be upon him, about many issues, he said:
He said: Then tell me about the Magians, did God select them and give them a Prophet?
As I find with them books with clear and eloquent sermons, And healing proverbs, they acknowledge reward and punishment, and they have laws by which they work.
He, peace be upon him, said: There is no nation that was devoid of a warner, He was sent in a request to God, and they denied him and battled against his book.
He said: Then the people claim that he is Khalid bin Sinan?.
He said, peace be upon him: Khalid was a Bedouin Arab, he was not a prophet, but he was something that people say
He asked : Was he then Zoroaster?
He, peace be upon him, said: Verily indeed Zoroaster gave them a clamor, and claimed prophethood, then a people from among them believed in him and another people denounced him. So they took him out, and the lions ate him in the wilderness of the earth.
He asked: Tell me about the Magians if they were closest to righteousness in their era, or the Arabs?.
He said, peace be upon him: The Arabs in the days of ignorance were closer to the Hanafi religion than the Magians, and this is because the Magians disbelieved all the prophets, and resisted against their books, And denied their proofs, And did not take anything from their traditions and their teachings, And that Kikhsru, the king of the Magians, in the first age killed three hundred prophets, And the Magians were not showering after seminal discharge, and the Arabs used to shower and ablution from the pure laws of the Hanifiyah, And the Magians were not circumcised, whereas this was one of the Sunnahs of the Prophets, and the first person to do that was Abraham, the friend of God, And the Magians would not wash their dead nor shroud them, and the Arabs used to do that, And the Magians were throwing the dead in deserts and sarcophagi, And the Arabs buried them in their graves and in their burial places, and this as well is the Sunnah of the Messengers, The first person for whom was dug the grave was Adam, the father of mankind, and he was buried underneath the earth, And the Magians would have intercourse with mothers and they would marry daughters and sisters, but the Arabs forbade that, and the Magians denied the Sacred House of God and called it the house of Satan but the Arabs used to perform pilgrimage and would glorify it, and they would say: ”The house of our Lord”, and would acknowledge the Torah and the Gospel, and ask the People of the Book and take from them, and so the Arabs were in all causes closer to the Hanafiyyah religion than the Magians.

They had a Prophet they killed and a book they burned. Their Prophet came to them with their book in twelve thousand bull skin, and it was called: Ja Masb.
