QUESTION:

How can the Shi’a oppose some of the ten companions the Prophet promised Paradise?

ANSWER:

In the Name of Allah, the All-Beneficent, the All-Merciful.
May Allah bless Muhammad and his Family and damn their enemies.

The narration in which the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) supposedly
states that ten of his companions have been granted Paradise – some of
those mentioned being Abu Bakr, Omar and other enemies of the Prophet’s
Household – is a fabricated narration

It is found only in the sources of the sect which refers to itself as ‘Ahlus-Sunnah
Wal-Jama’a’. This narration carries no weight and cannot be used
against the Shi’a who consider it a false narration.
