How could one develop a strong memory? 834 469 The Office Of His Eminence Sheikh al-Habib

QUESTION:

Hi, I saw in a video that Sheikh Yasser Al Habib said that a woman asked Fatima that her child was a bit slow in learning and that Fatima told her to give 21 seeds or pills every morning to her son. I don’t remember what it was (the pills or seeds name) and the other woman gave it every day to her son and he ”became” normal. Or it was that a woman said to the Sheikh that her son was slow in school, to which he told her to take 21 pills. I don’t remember exactly the name of them and I would like to know it. Thanks.

ANSWER:

In the Name of Allah, the All-Beneficent, the All-Merciful.
May Allah bless Muhammad and his Family and damn their enemies.

To develop good mental health and strong memory, one is recommended to consume 21 raisins daily on an empty stomach. There are a number of other recommended things as well. These include:

  • Reciting the Holy Quran, particularly Ayatul Kursi.
  • Performing the Night Prayer.
  • Invoking many blessings upon Muhammad and his pure Progeny (peace be upon them).
  • Fasting.
  • Brushing one’s teeth with Miswak.
  • Consuming honey.
  • Consuming sugar and Kundur.

Finally after every prayer one can recite this supplication:

عن النبي صلى الله عليه واله وسلم قال يا علي أذا أردت أن تحفظ كل ماتسمع فقل في دبر كل صلاة ( سبحان من لايعتدي على أهل مملكته سبحان من لا ياخذ أهل الأرض بالوان العذاب سبحان الرؤوف الرحيم اللهم أجعل في قلبي نورا وبصرا وفهما وعلما أنك على كل شئ قدير )

The translation:
From the Prophet (Peace be upon him and his family) that he said to Ali (upon whom be peace)

if you wish to memorise all that you hear then say after the end of each prayer ( Glory be to the one who does not transgress against the people of his kingdom. Glory be to the one who does not take the people of the earth through different colours of purgatory. Glory be to the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful. O’ Allah enable light, understanding, comprehension and knowledge to be within my heart. Indeed you are above all things capable)
